Thyme and Truffles began operations in 1987 in a tiny storefront space in Toronto, Ontario. Over the last 20 years, it established a strong brand image on a national-scale due to offering a wide variety of products based on superior quality and bold flavors that are aligned to the specific needs of chefs, caterers and other food service operators. Today, Thyme and Truffles is a part of the food service division of Plats du Chef, a Montreal-based company that has been in the frozen food business for over 25 years and services the retail and food service sector across North America. Since inception, Thyme and Truffles takes pride in its manufacturing operations which focus on the highest level of food safety, product quality and efficiencies. All products are made at the Montreal manufacturing facility, a state-of-the-art, 110,000 square ft plant which is CFIA approved as well as HACCP certified.
